Nissan Xterra Interior

It’s all about clips and hooks. Ten of them to be exact. Four in the floor. Four more in the ceiling. One on each side of the wall. Most importantly, where your gear is most secured

No matter what size, or how big. Xterra’s radically flexible interior takes it like a pro, making re-entry a breeze. And leaving plenty of room to bring a few buddies along on dawn patrol.

Rutted trails are not the only things that make your teeth chatter. Thanks to the good audio system, Xterra serves up an audio experience as extreme as the ground you are driving on

Nissan Xterra Performance

No matter how you slice it, XTERRA delivers. A potent 24-valve DOHC V6 takes you on a power high with a 41.7 kg-m of torque surfaces real thrill. Lightweight components for quick response and the continuously variable valve timing for peak efficiency make Xterra’s power plant one fine-tuned athlete.

Off Track? Xterra’s massive tyres earn extra stick when teamed up with 4-wheel Limited Slip (ABLS). It’s the ultimate off-road equipment for the toughest off-road situations.

Shift-on-the-fly. Go where the wind – or whim – takes you. The flip of a switch is your compass.

Xterra’s highly capable 4WD system features a shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive with 2-speed transfer case, which lets you shift between 2WD and 4H at speeds up to 100 kmph. For severe off-road conditions, the system also features a 4LO with an impressive crawl ratio that includes dual speed off roading situations. It’s a dynamic combination of technology for the serious off-roader.

Working in perfect harmony with the engine, the 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission provides smooth, precise shifting. A 6-speed manual transmission is also available for those seeking
a dynamic, sporty feel.

Nissan Xterra Impact Safety

Nissan’s Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) includes standard dual-stage supplemental front air bags that incorporate seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage air bags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. If the front passenger seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the bag. In addition, front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags are built into the seats, so they move with you as you adjust your seating position.

Xterra’s Zone Body construction helps absorb crash energy to protect the occupant compartment if the unavoidable
happens. It includes front and rear crumple zones, energy-absorbing frame side-members and crossmembers, a reinforced body structure, and bumper heights designed for compatibility with other vehicles. All to help lessen the effects of an impact and protect your family.

Nissan Xterra Control Safety

Standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) rapidly pumps the brakes during hard braking to help prevent your wheels from locking, helping you maintain steering control.

Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) provides advanced braking control in every load situation for safe and stress free driving.

Standard Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) helps you stay on your steered path. If your vehicle begins to oversteer or understeer, VDC (sometimes known as Stability Control) compensates by reducing engine speed and/or applying
appropriate brake pressure to specific wheels
